Within the framework of scientific and academic cooperation partnerships between the College of Pharmacy at Al-Ameed University and the College of Pharmacy at the University of Karbala, the Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the College of Pharmacy, Al-Ameed University, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hamed Abd Al-Hussein, participated in conducting the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for fourth-year students at the College of Pharmacy, University of Karbala.
The examination aims to assess students’ practical clinical skills, enhance their clinical reasoning abilities, and develop their competence in making appropriate therapeutic decisions, in line with the modern evolution of the pharmacist’s role. This role is no longer limited to dispensing medications, but extends to providing comprehensive healthcare services that contribute to improving the quality of healthcare delivered to the community.
This participation comes as part of strengthening academic cooperation and exchanging scientific expertise between the two universities, contributing to the advancement of the scientific and professional standards of pharmacy students and supporting the application of contemporary standards in pharmaceutical and clinical education.
